Thrombosis and Haemostasis: three cheers for three independent years !

Summary
W ith this December issue, the last issue for 2005, Thrombosisand Haemostasis completes the third year followingits relaunch in 2003 as an international Journal forVascular Biology and Medicine. Three years in new clothes, witha fresh energy, and for the first time in 2003 an online submissionsystem, together with crucial support from the dedicatedmembers of a strong editorial board and certainly from allauthors, readers and referees, Thrombosis and Haemostasis continuesto spread scientific information into “all corners of theworld”. We would like to particularly thank those section editorswho terminate their duties at the end of this year, and welcomethe new members of the editorial board who will expand ourresponsibilities for the interdisciplinary visibility of the Journal.This year (volumes 93 and 94) 444 articles have been published,as compared to 348 and 409 in 2003 and 2004, respectively,reflecting a steadily increasing number of scientific publications(and submissions), while keeping the acceptance rate below50%.
