2012 is the Celebration of “round” anniversaries for 5 journals
2012 is the year in which Schattauer is celebrating the “round” anniversary of five of their in-house journals. 
Methods of Information in Medicine (Methods), Phlebologie, Nervenheilkunde, Osteologie, and Psychodynamische Psychotherapie (PDP) all celebrate a round anniversary this year.
The biggest anniversary being celebrated is that for the English journal “Methods”. This journal appeared for the first time in 1962, and this year it celebrates 50 years! Methods thematically deals with issues on computer science and information technology in the medical field. More information on the journal can be found

“Phlebologie” has now been around for 40 years (first publication was in 1972). This CME-certified journal devotes itself to all relevant phlebology topics within the areas of research and practice, such as new diagnostic procedures, preventative medical issues and therapeutic measures. “Nervenheilkunde” is one of the best known journals for continuing education for Neurologists and psychiatrists. It first appeared in 1982 and this year it is 30 years old. More information on the journal can be found here.
“Osteologie” is an interdisciplinary journal for continuing education in the field of osteology and deals with disorders of the musculoskeletal system, especially those that affect the bones and joints. During 2012, this journal will be celebrating its 20th birthday (first publication was in 1992). More information on the journal can be found here.
The youngest journal which is celebrating its jubilee this year is “Psychodynamische Psychotherapie” (PDP), which first appeared in 2002. For the last 10 years, this journal has been keeping medical and psychological psychotherapists informed on the development depth-orientated psychotherapy.
