Swets insolvence: Important news for Schattauer journal subscribers

As announced on Monday, September 22nd, the subscriptions agent Swets has declared insolvency.  The actual effects of this are currently unclear. However, if you are planning on ordering or renewing subscriptions to one or more Schattauer journals via Swets, then we highly recommend that you renew your subscription with Schattauer directly or with another agent.

Please also refrain from making any further payments to Swets for Schattauer content as you may be exposing yourself / your institution to substantial risk.  If you have recently made any payments to Swets for subscription renewals, or for new subscriptions, and you are unsure of the current status, please contact Schattauer directly.

Please note that we currently cannot fill any new orders or renewals that we receive from Swets, and as stated above, we recommend that you order directly from Schattauer or via an alternative agent.

For all customers that have subscribed to Schattauer content in 2014 via Swets, access to subscribed contentwill be granted until at least March 31st, 2015.

We will continue to keep you updated on any new developments regarding this. Should you have any questions or concerns regarding your currently subscribed content, new orders or renewals, please contact:
