Summary

A 78-year-old male patient suffered from bone pain which was located at the spine and the pelvis. Radiographs demonstrated bone metastasis. Prostata carcinoma was excluded by urological examination. Physical assessment by an internist revealed an exulcerating tumor of the right breast located lateral of the nipple. Histological examination showed an invasive ductal carcinoma of the breast, which is a rare event in male patients. Mastectomy was performed. Bone metastasis were treated with intravenous bisphosphonate and radiation therapy.
