Summary

On the condition of a standardized manufacturing process it could be proven that both 3% and 1% Polidocanol foams after liquefaction of the foam several times and during longer periods without loss of the foam quality can be refoamed. The used foam production principle corresponded to the DSS principle. The 3% foam was 13 times foamed during 64 days, the 1% foam was foamed 12 times during 78 days. At the end of each test series a fine-bubble foam was won, whereby the 3% foam was somewhat finerbubbled and liquefied somewhat more slowly.
